Elne Lou Cartas' Top Tips for Women Entrepreneurs:
SAY NO TO SET BOUNDARIES
Women are often conditioned by cultural nor play a supporting role as caregivers rather than primary decision-makers or leaders. The societal expectation of women earning indepently has evolved only recently with the 1974 implementation of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, which allowed women to manage finances and secure credit without their husbands' co-signature.
Saying no is crucial in protecting mental health, mntning work-life balance, and asserting indepence. It enables women entrepreneurs to define success terms suited for them and prioritize personal needs alongside professional goals. However, it's equally important not to avoid difficult conversations or the need for help when needed.
ASK FOR HELP
Leverage your network to get support without necessarily paying for services. Creative arrangements like 'like-kind exchanges' can facilitate assistance while mntning healthy relationships.
YOUR SUCCESS MILESTONES
Define success based on personal achievements, goals, and happiness rather than societal standards or comparisons. Regular self-reflection through tools provided by Elne Lou Cartas will help you stay aligned with your vision.
